HDX-MS Services: Epitope Mapping, Binding and Structure
RaptMAb runs hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HDX-MS) as a contract service for antibody discovery, drug discovery and protein development programs. HDX-MS measures your protein in solution, and each of our three services answers a different question:
- Antibody Characterization: Where does my antibody bind its antigen, and which part of the antibody makes contact?
- Protein-Ligand Interaction Analysis: Where does a small molecule or partner protein bind, and does binding change the protein elsewhere?
- Protein Structural Characterization: How do conformational dynamics and stability compare between variants, or between a biosimilar and its reference?
Most projects are complete three to four weeks after we receive your samples, and you receive a coverage map, per-peptide deuterium uptake kinetics, heat maps and a written analytical report.
Antibody Characterization
Understand how therapeutic antibodies recognize and interact with their targets. Map epitopes and paratopes, investigate mechanisms of action, and support antibody discovery and engineering.
Explore ServiceProtein-Ligand Interaction Analysis
Characterize biomolecular interactions to reveal binding interfaces and molecular recognition. Investigate protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions to support target validation and drug discovery.
Explore ServiceProtein Structural Characterization
Reveal conformational dynamics that influence protein function and stability. Study structural changes, protein flexibility, and dynamic behavior to gain deeper mechanistic insights.
